Around 2022 I got into film photography, which has been bankrupting me ever since. I even made a photobook for fun, and sold a whopping two copies of it.
I find photography to be a good activity for my design work as well: so much of design is composition, which is important in my style of photography as well. I find shooting on film forces me to slow down and consider compositions more carefully, and I definitely feel it has improved my skills as a designer as well.
